proposal

The goal that I gave my sack for this project was the task of answering the door. The obstacle that the sack must overcome is the height of the door knob. The sack starts off in the kitchen when all of a sudden it is startled by the doorbell. (cut scene to doorbell). It makes way from the kitchen to the front door. The sack struggles to reach the door knob, but is unable to grab it. The sack realizes that it needs some type of stool or ladder to reach the knob. It walks off camera and comes back with a stool that he puts next to the door. It stands on the stool and reaches for the door knob. It barely reaches the knob and ends up falling off the stool, hanging from the knob. The sack twists the knob and begins to sway back and forth in order to open the door. The door opens slightly and a gust of wind blows it completely open, crushing the sack between the door and the wall.

i think that your idea is solid and i can already visualize the whole thing. I just think that you should handle the situation as we discussed in class, put the step stoll off to the side of the door. Then when the sack reaches for the knob he falls and dangles helplessly for a few moments.

You have to make it obvious that it's the wind that blows the door open and not some magical force if you decide to go that route. You could have someone else coming through the door that knocks him over.

Your story in general is fine. I think you need to play with how the door opens. Is the door going to blow open and squash him after he has struggled or perhaps he can't get it open so he gets a ladder and the door opens out and he falls out the door. -Erika
